Tattoo Lettering

Instead of getting a design, why not get a tattoo lettering if you cannot make up your mind? While there are hundreds of tattoo designs which you can choose from, they can be sometimes too overwhelming that you no longer know what it is that you want. For this reason, there are several people who choose getting a quote tattoo instead. Nowadays, text tattoos becomes more and more trendy these days since more and more people choose words, names, short quotes and meaningful sayings to express themselves through their tattoos. If you have already decided what to tattoo on your body, the next important thing to consider is what kind of lettering you would like to apply on your tattoo. Nobody would like that their tattoo looks boring and unattractive. So you should do some research and choose your tattoo font or a tattoo lettering style that will give more color and personality to your tattoo. The most popular tattoo fonts are script fonts.

Nowadays, more and more people are choosing to get a tattoo lettering instead of a tattoo design. This might be because they are more personal and unique. But whatever decision you choose, you have to keep in mind that they are permanent. Tattoo lettering is often times essential as part of a piece of body art.  Sometimes the tattoo lettering itself is the tattoo.  Choosing the font you will use or the type of language character you add will make or break the tattoo.  Very popular for some time now is to use a motivational word that is meaningful to you for instance and translate it into another language such as Chinese.  Although many of us do not recognize this but for some people the world of body art is becoming just as globalized as every other part of the world.  Artistic styles from all over the world are being blended together in many art forms and body art is not an exception nor is tattoo lettering and fonts.  Below are some of the most popular requests.

Tattoo Sleeve Ideas

You ever see those huge body builders that have great tattoo sleeves and when they flex their muscles the tattoo’s seem to come to life. I wish I had those muscles but since I don’t I will have to make due with tats that make my arms come to life. I think I will have the artist use a lot of black and silver in my tattoo sleeves since I am a big time raiders fan. That would look cool seeing me at a raiders game drinking up a few brewskies showing off my new tattoo sleeves, heck I might just use the Raiders name somewhere in my tattoo sleeves. It would probably have to be in small letters so it didn’t just look like a Raiders tattoo. I just want to make it a very small part of my tattoos. I know the babes always love black and silver if its done right. Put a little silver helmet on the back of my elbow with raiders on it. I wonder if any of the raiders players have any tattoo sleeves, that would be interesting to find out. I think I saw one of the guys from last years defensive team that had some pretty hot looking tats.

If you knew me personally then you would know that I’m a huge fan of sleeve tattoos. Ever since I was very young I always wanted to have sleeve tattoos inked on both my arms. I really like how they look and to be completely honest, I think that they are pretty cool. Another thing that you would know about me, if we were personal acquaintances is that I’m not a real big fan of tribal tattoos. And I think that’s because these have been so overdone in the past few years that I’m actually quite bored with them.  But, this tribal sleeve tattoo is a little bit different. For one, it’s just not your run of the mill tribal design. No, the person had the foresight to add two additional elements to the design. The first thing they added to this sleeve tattoo is a grim reaper in the center of the design. The second thing that they added is some elaborate lettering alongside the tribal design. I can’t make out what it says but it does look really nice. These two elements takes this sleeve tattoo from being just another ordinary tribal design to something that really stands out. Plus, you gotta love it because it’s a sleeve tattoo!!

This tattoo sleeve is a wondrous work of art. But, it is probably one that cost this person a pretty penny. So, if you are considering a tattoo sleeve, you will need to bear in mind the cost of such a large tattoo and be prepared to pay the price. These types of tattoos do not come cheap and of course the larger and more intricate the design the more you should expect to pay for it. In fact, a full sleeve tattoo can be priced anywhere from a few hundred to one or two thousand dollars.

And you must remember that due to the nature of these types of tattoo, you will have to arrange more than one sitting, multiple sessions will be needed to see the completed design. A full sleeve tattoo can take between 20 and 30 hours to get done and for a tattoo of this size and complexity your tattoo artist will usually break up your sessions into 1 hour appointments. Making the commitment to get a sleeve tattoo is a big decision. It will take a lot of money and plenty of time in the tattoo chair before it is complete, especially if you would like a full sleeve tattoo. But you must never rush into getting one, instead, make sure the design you want is carefully worked out and planned and choose a skilled and talented tattoo artist as they will be able to help you with all the preparation of your tattoo sleeve.

Look at the tattoo sleeve in the picture. It’s a very nice design that has a good flow to it. But, not everyone who gets one of these is so lucky. A tattoo sleeve design is a huge choice, but it can also be one of the hottest designs and placements there is if you are able to find a great one online. The thing about it is that locating the quality artwork on the internet can be just about impossible these days, with many people going to the point of settling for generic tattoos they are not 100% happy with.

Well, here are some critical things you must know before choosing something, as well as how to get straight to the good stuff. If you are like most people who are looking for a tattoo sleeve design online, you know how great they can look. You also know that the web is filled with so much generic artwork and it is hard to sift through all of it. What you may not know, and what may happen to you, is that many people end up settling on generic tattoos and designs that they are not 100% in love with. No sane person should ever so this, but they do, which is a shame. I stress the word "settle" because that is exactly what this is, and for something as permanent as a tattoo sleeve design, that is not a good thing.
