Sleeve Tattoo Ideas

Here is another really cool looking sleeve tattoo. This is a design that is based upon traditional Japanese tattooing and features a Koi fish as it’s main element. I think that the colors in this sleeve tattoo is very impressive. The fish is brightly colored in many shades of red and the black highlights around the gills makes it look like it has depth. It sort of gives it a three dimensional element that really stands out when your directly facing it. Another thing that really strikes me about this sleeve tattoo is the water. It’s not really a naturalistic depiction of an actual river current but it’s actually what I would call an impressionistic version of water. See how the waves curl out in an exaggerated fashion? And the color of the water is impressionistic as well. The water in this river is green. While it’s certainly plausible that water in a river could be green, it wouldn’t be a light jade color like it is in this sleeve tattoo. It just doesn’t happen. All things considered this has to be one of my favorite sleeve tattoos that I have seen inked in the Asian styles. It’s bold, bright and very beautiful.

I went to an ink show at the memorial auditorium in Fresno last week and this hot blonde chick had a tattoo sleeve that looked so sexy on her. It was from her shoulder to her elbow and it had all these bee’s flying around the nest with the queen bee the main character of the tattoo sleeve. It was outstanding and the girl was wearing gold jewelry that made the whole tattoo look totally wicked. tattoo sleeve done and she told me down in Visalia at a small tattoo parlor on the out skirts of town. I don’t know the artists name, but whoever it was did a great job for her. She gave me her number and said if I was ever interested in getting my own tattoo sleeve done just give her a call when in Visalia, and she would set me up with the artist. I am still thinking about it, but I know I will go ahead and do it for sure after the summer is over with. Going to have to save up some money for the tattoo I really want and that’s going to take me working hard all summer long.
